Mark Donovan

CEO

Mark takes pride in building 'care-leading' organizations that provide advanced clinical models to enhance the lives of patients and their families. He leads Attain with this focus, as he has in multiple capacities throughout his 25 years in the health care industry.

Prior to leading Attain, Mark was involved in founding and holding senior executive positions at several highly successful, multi-state companies, including Vantage Oncology and Thrive Skilled Pediatric Care. Mark also spent multiple years as an institutional investor at Salix Ventures and Summit Partners and currently serves on the Boards of Directors of several companies and community organizations.

Mark enjoys staying active in his community, recreational athletics, and coaching youth sports. He holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BA from Princeton University.

Karen Cherney Zaltz, MHSc, MPhil, CCC-SLP

Director of Compliance

Karen blends her clinical expertise and 20 years of experience to create and foster a culture of compliance throughout the entire organization so that constant improvement is embraced and accessible. Her knowledge and adherence to industry best practices ensure that Attain is always striving for the highest levels of operational, clinical, and regulatory practices.

Karen's 20 years of clinical and operational experience in the special needs and autism community includes her time as a speech-language pathologist for autistic children and Clinical Director and COO of a special needs agency.

Amanda Sharpe, M. Ed., BCBA, LBA

Clinical Director, Maryland

Amanda has been practicing ABA for more than 10 years and has been a BCBA since 2018. She has extensive experience working with children and young adults with autism spectrum disorder, both professionally and personally. Amanda leads a team of clinicians in Maryland that provides superior ABA services to clients and their families. She’s successfully established a genuine team atmosphere across her entire region among Attain’s clinicians and families.

Kate Dalcour, MS, BCBA, LBS

Clinical Director, Pennsylvania

Kate has been practicing ABA for more than 17 years and has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since 2012. She has extensive experience providing ABA treatment to children and young adults with ASD, attention difficulties, learning disabilities, and various emotional and behavioral disorders. Kate’s passion is to educate and empower her team of clinicians to provide top-quality ABA services and support to their clients and their families.

Casey Loughrey, BCBA, LBA

Clinical Director, Virginia/DC

Casey has been a BCBA since 2013 and has been practicing ABA therapy in Virginia and Maryland for more than 11 years. She received a BS in Psychology, a Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism, and is currently a doctoral candidate in Strategic Leadership. Casey loves working in ABA because she can impact the lives of so many children and her colleagues, and it has allowed her to meet the most incredible children and families.
